Veterinary Jobs in Cyttir Road, Holyhead

James Rutter holds a PGCertWho we are:

James Rutter founded this independent practice in 2007. Originally working by himself, the practice has gradually expanded. For five years running, James Rutter has received nominations for the Petplan Best Vet competition. The practice, too, has received several nominations for best practice. We are a thriving, busy practice and pride ourselves in offering the best possible service to all our clients. To ensure up-to-date communication within the team, we run regular practice meetings where staff can discuss issues and provide input into how the practice is run. We emphasise CPD, which we consider essential to being a great and knowledgeable vet. In addition to promoting attendance of CPD sessions, courses, conferences, and webinars, we also hold in-house CPD sessions. We encourage the pursuit of advanced certificates – James Rutter holds a PGCert in Small Animal Surgery.

Where we are:

We are located in beautiful Anglesey near the seaside town of Trearddur Bay. With the coast and sea only a 5-minute drive away, kayaking, swimming, surfing, scuba diving, fishing, and coasteering are popular activities. For those with land-based hobbies, cycling, hiking, horse riding, and rock climbing are major attractions. Hiking the 125 miles of coastal path provides stunning views of the beautiful Anglesey coastline. The mountains of Snowdonia are a mere 45-minute drive away and offer many outdoor activities – from rock climbing and hiking to fell running and even river rafting. Bangor has its own University and is only a 20-minute drive. In addition to the lovely countryside, Anglesey also offers good-value housing. Excellent travel links exist to London, Liverpool, Manchester and Ireland.
