Our Practice

Welcome to the Anglesey Pet Clinic! We are fully equipped with operating, laboratory, dental, hospitalisation, ultrasound and X-ray facilities. James Rutter set up the practice in February 2007 with the aim of providing the best possible care for companion animals in a friendly and professional environment. The surgery site is continually manned 24 hours a day and a vet and nurse are on hand at all times for emergencies and hospitalised cases. Plenty of car parking is available in the car park in front of the surgery.

Our reception area is the first place you will see as you enter the premises. The spacious reception area has comfortable seats. We have a great variety of petcare products available, including flea and worm control medicines, shampoos, and dental products and can order most quality lifestyle or prescription diets for you. If you have any questions, the members of staff at reception will be happy to help you.

We have two consulting rooms. Consultations with James, the vet, will take place in the larger consulting room which is also equipped with an ultrasound unit, while our nurses will check animals for fleas, trim nails and offer post-surgical checks in the Nurse Consulting Room.

When your animal undergoes surgery, it will stay in our spacious kennels until it is fit enough to be handed back into your care. We have two special kennels for large breeds (Great Danes etc.) that guarantee that even the largest dogs are housed in comfortable surroundings.

Our Operating Theatre has all the necessary surgical equipment, including an X-ray, ECG and dental machine. We also have an in-house laboratory.
